Summary: It was a very good B & B, I recommend it. Andy was helpful with various things explaining facilities & local places I could have dinner. A small chair instead of the stool would have been useful to watch TV or read a newspaper or book. Help-yourself breakfast was good with all one could expect without a cook or cooked breakfast ( I only like light breakfasts, so that was good ) I felt a sheet as well as a duvet would have been, useful, as I didn't need the duvet & a sheet would have sufficed in this heat These comments are made as help, not criticisms There are a number of eating places easily reached by car within 5 minutes Thank you Geoff

Summary: Okay for a place to stay but its a help yourself breakfast. No staff around. No staff to check you in. I had to phone to get someone to come out. And no one says 'Hello Old Star B&B'. Just 'Hello, Karen speaking.' How are you supposed to know you've reached the right number? No staff on check out. I just left the keys on the bed. Poor customer service.

Summary: The location was convenient. However, the room was tiny and difficult to enter with our bags (up a narrow staircase). The shower lacked towel or grab bars. Cold breakfast only.

Summary: Very welcoming and friendly host. Very accommodating to my request for earlier check in. Room was perfectly adequate for me and my daughter. Bit of a lack of privacy for the en-suite. Self service breakfast was well supplied

Summary: The room had two single beds (old) and a WC/shower room (this unheated and remained wet during the 4-day stay. Continental breakfast which included a variety of items (sliced cheese packet mould green). Parking available and good WIFI reception. Road noise not an issue. Depending on weather, would be more appreciative if not a winter stay. Hosts very nice and welcoming.

Summary: I felt at home in the b&b and liked that you could get your own breakfast and there were facilities such as a microwave should you need it. It was very convenient that it was so close to Glenside university as well. The host was very welcoming and helpful.
