Positive: We were met by friendly staff on arrival. The room was lovely, spacious and clean. Didn't eat in the Indian restaurant due to having prior arrangements but we will next time Breakfast had a great selection of food.

Positive: The Langley Inn is a beautiful 17th century inn, and the current owners are doing a good job of refurbishing it while keeping its old world charm. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean with an excellent shower and nice toiletries (although just the basics - bring your body lotion and conditioner!) The staff were all really helpful. Dinner in Zak's was a really excellent curry from a South Asian menu with a really good selection of chef's specials alongside the usual Indian options. Breakfast was a good, self-service continental buffet with cereals, porridge, pastries, toast, eggs, cheese, cold meats and fresh fruit.

Negative: Nothing really, but if I'm being really picky I thought it was a bit of a shame to have a hanging rail rather than a wardrobe in a room that was otherwise really charming to look at - it did the job though! One of the team told me that they are planning to landscape the garden, which will make it even more attractive.

Positive: Stunning setting, very friendly staff / owner, very comfy bed, breakfast was a very good choice included in price, massive extra surprise in not knowing the Indian restaurant they also own is connected to the property and the food was phenomenal. Definitely will be going again . Thank you for a great stay

Positive: Location was ideal for us- quiet and peaceful but near to good transport/road links and retail opportunities. Breakfast facilities were very good and generously stocked

Negative: Carpet in bedroom could do with a deep clean or replacing. Bathroom sink was in some disrepair

Summary: We were happy with our stay and appreciated the warmth and hospitality of the owners and staff.
