Positive: Location is convenient.

Negative: It’s already aged hotel that would need some renovations in the rooms. Also the amenities: pillows were having an “old sweat” smell. The rooms have no sound isolation from the outside, it was loud from the street all day long so that they even offer you ear plugs. As international chain hotel chain, would be nice that more stuff speak english. Breakfast looked like it has many options but was in fact basic: with poor choice of fresh fruits (there is such a variety that is possible!), poor choice of cold cuts etc.

Negative: The hotel rooms were a lot more dated than they looked in the photos with scratches and stains on the walls. Also the aircon wasn’t on at the corridors or the room at check in so it wasn’t very comfortable for us (being a very hot day)

Positive: Everything, I cant remember how many times I have stayed in the hotel. Compared to other options in Xiamen it is a very good value for your money. I happened to spent my birthday in the hotel and it was even arranged a surprise and delivered a cake to the room. Very polite and professional staff, special thanks to Mandy for Una for their hospitality.
