Summary: A very beautiful old house with a wonderful property. The room has A/C but no TV. It is a perfect way to disconnect. We recommend it anytime

Summary: We stayed for a week in January, in the large half-timbered room in the website pictures. Never turned on the AC, as there is almost always a tradewind. When the wind stops, the windmills stop and there can be a brownout. Nothing fancy about this place, but we loved it. Flowers everywhere, a delightful staff, and Jan Francke painting his watercolors. We had the pool to ourselves, but come the evening, the locals poured in, as the restaurant is reputed to be the best on the island. After our first dinner we decided this was a rare treat and we ate there every night except one. Truly superb.
