Summary: We arrived late and there was nobody there and they did not answerer on the phone when we called We found the safe where the put the keys for people arriving late, but they had forgot to send us the code. When we where close to give up another guest arrived and he had the code so we could get our key.

Summary: This is a unique property since it is located in a small village. We wanted a more authentic experience and that is what we got - the property is visited by local clientele on a daily basis since it has a restaurant and brewery. We traveled with my parents and stayed in a family apartment. One room had 2 king-sized beds (no closets). The other room was smaller with a set of bunk beds and an en suite (no closets). The 2nd bedroom with the en suite could have been better set up if it had a double bed instead of bunks. But, my parents made it work for them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Summary: Basic room, but in excellent condition and very clean, and good value. Nice quiet country style, just what we were looking for. Run their own brewery, can’t beat that!

Summary: Remarkably good beer and food, skip the 30 varieties of schnitzel (even if they are good too) and go for the Brauhaus Spezialitäten. Clean and tidy rooms, small but sufficient breakfast.

Summary: We were visiting Berlin for a couple of days, but had our flight back to Boston from Hamburg and were looking for a place to stay a bit closer to Hamburg. We booked the hotel at about 10 pm while still in Berlin. The hotel was slightly over 1.5 hrs north of Berlin. After a pleasant experience boking via Orbitz, we called the hotel to inform we will be arriving late. Unfortunately, I was not able to communicate in German. After a couple of attempts, I texted arrival time using google translate. After we took the exit off A24, we had to travel deserted road for a few miles (it was almost midnight). Barring just a couple of cars that passed by there were no signs of life. With my wife and 15 year old child, I was a bit concerned where I was headed to. It was very quite all around when we arrived at the hotel. I tried calling the hotel number, which was apparently forwarded to the owners number. Fortunately a guest (who could speak English) stepped out for a smoke. The hotel owner soon arrived r and guided us to a nice comfortable 2 room suite ( I think we got an upgrade!). He was en elderly gentleman and was able to convey where breakfast will be served in the morning etc. It was well past midnight by now. We got up in the morning and enjoyed the breakfast and headed to Hamburg airport. The hotel had a very nice backyard with a colorful fishes swimming in a pond. We would have liked to spend more time exploring the rustic neighborhood.

Summary: We stayed for one night on our trip. The best parts were the beer from the brewery and a friendly atmosphere. Ok breakfast and wifi. Just enough for us.
