Positive: Nice size room, and a welcome pack for our toddler was gratefully received. The breakfast was nice (we had the full English). Good selection of teas/coffee/biscuits in room with some complementary water. Comfy beds and the spa facilities were nice. I think it was great value for money especially as breakfast was included in the price

Negative: Decor is a little dated, and a couple of minor issues in our room - a towel that had been left crumpled on the floor and a random coat hanger on the curtains. Nothing major though. As others have mentioned, charging guests £12 for parking is a bit much but even so we were happy with the overall price

Positive: Very clean in all areas, especially the rooms and bathrooms. Food was excellent and the bars stocked a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Negative: We booked via booking.com and because of that, we had to pay £12 per day to park at the hotel, which I thought was a poor decision by the hotel management. The outdoor areas were ok but could do with more seating. Only four tables and eight seats out from the sandeman bar.

Summary: Nice but if we stay again I’ll look for online deals for rooms, without the extra cost of parking

Positive: Comfortable room. Clean. Friendly staff. Parking (although £12 per night).

Negative: Felt a bit soulless. Sandimann’s bar, particularly so, and food pretty average.

Positive: Fantastic room, exceptional staff- particularly Trish on reception she was brilliant. Fabulous programme for kids. My daughter loved Sam’s trails and the passport stamps. The restaurant was reasonably priced, and delicious. All serving staff were happy, kind and helpful. The pool was an extra treat too!

Negative: Service in bar area clearing tables was a bit slow, but made up for in staff politeness and service.

Positive: The staff were excellent at all times. The breakfast was lovely, the rooms very clean and great facilities. We will stay again.

Negative: We had a bit of a problem with our evening meal.but it was all sorted by the great staff.
