Positive: Breakfast on both days was fantastic. 3 courses along with a coffee or mimosa if you would like. Fantastic location which looked down upon the Galena. Resa and Chris were great hosts and it was really nice talking amongst the other guests about what we had planned for the day.

Negative: Absolutely no complaints. I could see where others who have difficulties with stairs (outdoor walk to Galena) but don't have access to a vehicle might not care for the location. However there are other ways of navigating the streets, calling an Uber, or getting great exercise if you are able to walk the stairs leading into town.

Positive: The breakfast was over the top. Homemade pastries, fresh fruit and an alternating sweet or savory third course depending on the day held us through to dinner. The location and parking was so easy.

Positive: Staff was very friendly and knoweldgable. Provided happy hour drinks and joined in on the conversation. The rooms were updated and clean. Plenty of space and little treats were waiting for us. Breakfast was provided for all guests in a formal dinning room. It was a unique experience. The hosts also were available to make reservations if needed at local restuarants.

Negative: The amount of stairs to get from the property to main street weren't clear upon booking. IF you have mobility issues, definitely check ahead.

Positive: First of all, let me say it was the host and the hostess that made this day so special. Secondly, the house was located perfectly with the stairs to the Downtown area and thirdly. The house itself was beautifully and lovingly done in an 1880s design. And last the accommodations the food at the breakfast and happy hour charcuterie were wonderful. Nothing could have been improved.

Negative: Living in an older home myself, I really appreciated all the effort and great work that was put into maintaining this homes character.

Summary: My daughters and I loved our stay! Nothing could have been better. It was the best!

Positive: The house, bedroom, and bathroom were all beautiful, comfy, and in very good condition. The couple who run Lamberson Guest House were absolutely delightful, well-prepared, and thoughtful. They went above and beyond what we were expecting in making our getaway special, and there were so many amenities, including good food and drinks, and extra special touches that they have thought of – I've already been recommending them and their beautiful, cozy guest house to friends and family!

Positive: Resa and Chris are top-notch and very welcoming and full of warmth and interest in making people feel like they’re part of the family. We made some new friends and strong connection to the Lamberson Guest House this weekend. We’re already thinking about the future and returning with friends again soon! Thank you so much Resa and Chris for a wonderful stay in Galena!

Negative: The only challenge is the stairs to climb down and back up from downtown area. But, the views are absolutely worth the climb.

Positive: Jeff and Steph were wonderful hosts. We had last minute reservations on a holiday weekend and they were very accommodating and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious as well. Definitely a place we would stay at again.

Negative: Isn't really anything we can complain about. It was a wonderful weekend.

Positive: It was our first bed and breakfast experience, the Lamberson Guest House did not disappoint. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Our room was inviting and relaxing, a charcuterie tray and beverages were waiting for us each afternoon. The three course breakfast was a delicious feast each morning. The outdoor patio was the perfect place to visit with other guests and our hosts. We will definitely be visiting again.
