Summary: This apartment was so close to the train station at La Spezia ( arrival/departure and Cinque Terre) and a short walk to the main shopping area with restaurants etc. The apartment was up 5 flights of stairs (no lift), but it was nice and light because of the skylights. It was a good size, lots of room for the 2 of us. I made use of the cooking facilities and washing machine which were supplied. The owner gave us some good recommendations for restaurants which we ate at 2; La Pia for the farinata and lunch at Osteria all'Inferno dal 1905 which was underground. We went early so we could get in without a reservation. We thoroughly recommend this place.

Summary: The apartment was well equipped and perfect location for exploring the local area by train. We were kept fit by climbing the stairs to the 5th floor daily. Luca provided information and was prompt to answer any queries, would happily return.

Summary: Everything about La Mansarda was perfect when we stayed over the New Year of 2023. The space, the style of decoration, everything needed in terms of equipment and more. The location is great too, super near the station yet quiet. Convenient shops and café just round the corner for essentials, just a few hundred meters from the main pedestrian street in town. Luca was wonderfully helpful with everything, making himself fully available for any needs and down to calling to reserve a table for us for a New Year dinner on the day of our arrival from Paris! Most highly recommended
