Positive: Excellent breakfast that was cooked to order and of a standard far superior to buffet type. Staff were excellent and very happy to assist with any query. Great location. Sunset on the lake is postcard perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Positive: We’ve stayed a few times at this hotel and fall in love more everytime. Beautiful views, food, rooms are clean and comfortable and staff are brilliant. Highly recommended.

Positive: Breakfast was very good. Meal the night before was excellent. The room itself was spacious and there was plenty of space for my luggage. The best thing by far though was the large bed which was very comfortable and meant I got a great sleep. I liked the power outlets beside each bedside locker too. And the windows were well insulated because when I closed them i could not hear the traffic going past at all.

Negative: Unfortunately the elevator was out of action for my stay, which was annoying because I had to negotiate a flight of stairs with my large suitcase. The room was a bit of a maze to get to. Also, and this is an important point for a large guy like me, the toilet in the room was one of those that comes out of the wall. It groaned and creaked when I sat on it for the first time, which did not fill me with confidence. I ended up using the one down the hall (adjacent to the small function room) instead.

Summary: Bed was supremely comfortable!

Positive: We where up for the weekend and stayed there as my mother is from cavan. Loved the view, rooms bar area breakfast lunch dinner was all beautiful. We will be back very soon xxxc

Negative: Couldn't get water for the room after we came in from the town. Porter said bar area was closed. The was disappointing as we where parching.
