Stay in one of the most beautiful homes on Candlewood Lake -- tucked in just beyond the cusp of a cove is our family’s lakefront retreat, with spectacular views across the widest section of the lake. A gently sloping backyard leads to a large dock for swimming and boating.
Plenty of room for vacations with your extended family, yet cozy enough for a couples retreat, the home has 5 bedrooms plus a nursery off the master suite and can sleep 10-12
Lower Level:
Two commercial-style refrigerators, wet bar, full bathroom with steam shower, bedroom with full/twin bunk plus an additional bedroom with a queen bed
First Floor:
Beautiful lakefront living room with gas fireplace and french doors which open to a spacious deck
Open-concept chefs kitchen, gas stove, high-end appliances, plenty of plates and cutlery, breakfast bar and all the kitchen gadgets you could hope for
Large laundry room and half bath
Second floor:
Queen bedroom with lakefront private balcony and a spiral staircase to the kids' themed bedroom in the crow's nest. Full bathroom directly across the hall
400 square foot master bedroom suite with gas fireplace and private lakefront balcony. King bed, beautiful master bath with two person shower, jacuzzi tub, and coffee bar.
Nursery off the master suite has a twin bed with a second twin trundle bed, features a full wall size mural. Crib is available upon request.

Summary: This was our second stay at the property and it was wonderful! The house is so cute and clean. Really feels like home. We cook up a storm in the kitchen and on the huge grill. The kids are crazy about the game room. We are never bored, so much to do. I miss having our morning coffee on the dock. Views are fabulous.

Summary: Our family had a much needed change of scenery at this stunning home right on Candlewood Lake. It had everything we needed for our stay, even in freezing temperatures! Everything was clean, super cozy and we had a blast roasting marshmallows and in the game room. Jocelynn was readily available with questions. Would love to return since it’s such an easy trip from NYC. Thank you!

Summary: The house is as advertised, a well maintained home and property on a quiet, one-lane street. We made a last minute booking for a Thanksgiving getaway and Jocelyn was quick to respond and accommodate us. I packed most of my cooking equipment just in case but I could have left about 90% of it home as the kitchen is well stocked and organized. Small travel shampoos and soaps etc were provided throughout, so there was a bit of that hotel convenience with the comfort of a home. There isn't a bad bed or room in the house, beds are all very comfortable, and our boys ages 5 & 3 enjoyed sleeping in the bunk bed room downstairs. I did notice the house was well setup for families with smaller children/babies if that's a concern for someone considering rental (retractable baby gates installed at the stairs, on-suite nursery room in master bedroom, high chair etc). Even in colder weather we were able to enjoy the backyard and terrace with the fire pit and propane heater, and the hot tub was fantastic as well, already heated up and ready to roll when we got there. We would love to come back in swimming weather, great view off the dock and lots of float toys & games in the shed. Plenty to do in foul weather too, board games/puzzles and the garage game room help pass the time easily!

Summary: I stayed at Jocelynn’s gorgeous house for two weeks. I could go on and on about how fabulous this property is! What an incredibly special place, The house had everything we could have possibly needed and was meticulously clean. The location could not have been any better. Jocelynn was a pleasure to deal with and made every aspect of our stay flow seamlessly. We are already trying to figure out when to go back!
