Listing Description:
Beautiful located in a quiet country setting on pristine Norris Lake. This property has everything: a great floor plan, outdoor living and the perfect location on Norris Lake. Conveniently located 10-15 minutes to Maynardville, TN and only 40 minutes to downtown Knoxville. Bubba Brews & Beach Island Marina are roughly 10-15 minutes away. The home is located in a quiet country setting in the back of the cove behind Straight Creek Boat dock in a no wake zone & the property has its own private dock for all your boating needs! Please note that our pontoon rental may be on the outside of the dock.
The Space:
-We have multiple pontoon rentals available upon request. You must have a valid boaters license or be born before 1989 to operate. Please note we deliver the boat to the property & the boat can be taken out anytime during your stay, just note per our insurance, the boats are not to be taken out after dark. All Bookings must be made a week in advance to guarantee delivery. All boats must be returned with a full tank of gas to avoid additional charges. Please note we do not rent tubes but local marinas do & the boat is to be returned to the house after the rental period is over.
Rates are as follows:
Pontoon rental - $325 per day plus taxes & $50 insurance & taxes.
-There are also kayaks included with the rental close to the dock. Please note that we do not provide life jackets. Please be sure to return to the kayak rack at the property once finished!
-The home is located on Summer Breeze on a peaceful cove right behind Straight Creek Boat Dock in a long no wake zone that takes roughly 15-20 minutes to get out of to the main channel of the lake. Jimmy's place & Bubba Brews is about 15 minutes away by land & roughly 20-30 minutes away by water.
-The home is equipped with a spacious kitchen equipped with a standard coffee maker, dishwasher, large fridge, stove, over the range microwave, & a large kitchen table! The home also includes a hot tub, weber gas grill with propane on site that we provide, Fiber WIFI, & Samsung smart tv's throughout the entire house as well as a beautiful patio area!
-There is a private dock for use w/ a swim ladder & jetski port! Your trailer can be left at the property (just please note the road is tight in areas) & you can put in at Straight creek boat dock! The dock does not have power currently
-Please note, this part of the lake is considered seasonal water and although you'll have normal lake levels from May to mid to late August for the dock, past that it will not be floating. The lake levels are lowered by the TVA in the Fall and raised again in the Spring & can fluctuate year to year.
Guest Access:
The entire house is available & no more than 3 cars allowed at the property.
Other Things to Note:
-Check in is at 5 & Check out is at 10 & you must be 25 to rent
-House includes All Linens, bath towels, pots, pans, utensils, baking sheets, etc.
-A STARTER supply of dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, a roll of toilet paper per bathroom, & trash bags (indoor & outdoor)
-Recommended items to bring: Extra trash bags, paper products, soaps, detergents, toilet paper, beach towels for hot tubs or lake, & all personal soaps, shampoo, & conditioners.
-3 Car max limit
-No smoking or parties allowed anywhere on the property.
-We provide all firewood & propane tanks.
-There are outdoor security cameras for protection since this is a year round rental.
-Check in and out times are firm unless approved in advance.
-Indoor Fireplace is for owners use only
-Nearest grocery store is Ingles which is 10-15 minutes away.
-No pets are allowed at our properties
-WIFI is Fiber
-There is another property beside this one if you need larger groups. The blue house sleeps 6.

We stayed for 3 nights with our adult children and their families, and everyone had a great time—with plenty of space for each of us to relax and enjoy.The lake views were beautiful, and the property had everything we needed for a perfect trip. Despite the rain, we were still able to kayak, fish, boat, and gather around the campfire. Summary: We would come down at a different time of year, if we were to come again. We were unable to kayak, which we really wanted to do. Would be nice to have cushions on the deck furniture and coffee tables. There's no place to put a drink when your watching TV. Overall, we had a very nice stay. P.S. clean the beautiful upper window in the living room.

Summary: Host was awesome! Went above and beyond for our group. The house and property are in great shape. Pro’s: The house is clean and in great shape (very close to Marina as well) Great views! Great appliances and dishes + cups + Utensils - they have it all Ability to rent a boat from the host! Super easy and convenient. Con’s: Upstairs room and latter are very steep. Not ideal for kids. The lake was too low for us to use the dock or swim. Neighbor are very close (but we didn’t notice them) We would stay again!

Summary: Best place we have ever stayed at Norris Lake! The house was super clean, well stocked and the host is a great communicator. The location is amazing! There are only a few other homes in the cove so it feels private. The covered dock is a big plus and we enjoyed swimming off of it.

Summary: The house was just as pictured. We had everything we needed (would suggest adding a nonstick pan to the kitchen collection). Access to the dock was perfect, lake was almost full pool, 10/19 while we were there 3rd week of May. Perfect for our boat which is a deep V. Kids loved the loft and the hot tub in the evenings. The location is wonderful, close to town yet you feel very seclude. Kids also really enjoyed the kayaks, they practically had the whole cove to themselves. We will stay again. Thanks you for a wonderful week.

Summary: We were in town for my Doctorial graduation at LMU and this place was absolutely perfect! It was a short drive into the school. The place was very clean, quiet and a beautiful view! The spa on the deck was wonderful in the cold weather. We absolutely loved it!!!
