The cabin is nestled among huge hardwood trees with a beautiful backdrop of the lake. A perfect get away for nearly any season the cabin offers something for everyone. During the warmer seasons, you can enjoy the breeze or you can put your feet up and relax on one of our two decks overlooking Norris Lake. If it’s a chilly evening you can build a bonfire in our outdoor fire pit or cozy up inside to a fire around the beautiful stone fireplace. During the days, your activity choices are nearly limitless. Spend the day playing on the lake, dining at one of the close by marinas for lunch, taking a nap, reading a book, or playing games. There are plenty of places nearby to enjoy hiking, biking, or rafting. With Knoxville just a short 45-minute drive away you can go shopping or find great restaurants for dinner.
The cabins interior is comfortable and cozy, with a family room that provides plenty of seating and beautiful vaulted cedar ceilings. When you enter the cabin you’ll immediately enjoy the open airy feeling and notice all the natural light. The home features two bathrooms and two bedrooms with king size beds, (one up and one down) along with two twin beds and a queen mattress located in the loft. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make cooking simple, and the lower level features a washer and dryer for your convenience. The large screened in front porch makes for a great place to enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the lake and the open-air side porch is great for grilling out and enjoying your dinner. Starlink internet is present in the home.
The trees are tremendous and keep things fairly cool in the summer with all their shade. Comparatively speaking we have a gradual slope to the lake that reaches our large private dock. We also have two wave-runner platforms available for your use. Our property has nearly 200 feet of lake frontage with a nice curve that adds to the surrounding water view. Norris Lake has 800 miles of shore line that wind through the foothills of Tennessee. Much of the land is protected which helps keep the forestry and wildlife safe and in abundance. The lake is very deep and unbelievably clear. There are ATV trails close in the town of Lafollette if your and off road enthusiasts. Enjoy our cabin for a fun family vacation, a fishing week with the boys, or a relaxing weekend away!

Summary: The location and roads leading to the property are not great. That is to be expected driving up mountains. Very steep driveway, no issue with a truck. Our main concern was the dock, in need of much repair. No actual boat slip, our boat got beat up by the waves, our extra large buoys helped. The view and the property are gorgeous! Absolutely enjoyed the cabin and the screened in porch, very nice in the evenings. Nice view of the lake in the evenings! Property owner informed us of the new build next door, we had no issues. No construction crew during our stay. Overall, the property was nice, clean, and the view of the lake was beautiful.

Summary: This was our 6th year staying there and we love the house but not in love with the dock access. the concern for next year is that the house will not be there and if it is they are building a house right next to it. we are looking forward to being there next year I rate the house a 4 1/2 star for us

Summary: We had a great stay. Cabin was as described. Beautiful views . Be sure to read instructions carefully- the driveway is steep and gravel. 4 wheel drive is def needed !! Easy to manage if you have it.

Summary: The location and layout of the property is awesome. It is a bit rustic, and you'll have to climb down a step ladder to get to the dock. We are agile and in shape, but many people could have trouble getting to the dock...fyi. It is my 3rd year to enjoy this place, and hope to be back!

Summary: The cabin is clean and nice. The driveway has new gravel so was easier. Four wheel drive needed for any inclement weather as it is very steep. The dock was nice. The fire ring was a plus as was the screened in porch. The screened in porch became our morning place to watch the lake and drink coffee. Very serene and nice. The cabin had very comfortable beds, great kitchen with everything you need. They even provided some puzzles which was nice. Overall very family friendly and good place to swim in the cove area. Campfire with s’mores and relaxing watching the lake is really a great feature. The extra deck and chairs really nice too.

Summary: getting onto the dock from the steps, was very, very unsafe that needs to be addressed looking at the reviews in the book at the house. The people before us said the same thing stated that the dock maintenance people came and made it worse. Someone will get hurt going from the steps to the dock I suggest a different platform. We love the house we have stayed there the last five years and hope to continue to stay there every year. Thank you.
