Summary: This is a great house in a perfect location. Great views of the water and multiple kayaks for getting out there. But it was the little touches, everything you need for s’mores and a bag of logs for the fire was super cool. Perfect lakefront getaway.

Summary: The setting is beautiful, we had a very relaxing week. A couple suggestions for future guests, the windows on the back porch that views the lake should be clean. That view is what I would go back for. Dirty windows definitely take away from that. I ended up washing them, what a difference.The sofa bed downstairs needs to be repaired or replaced. The bottom of the mattress springs were broken. Outside there were outdoor chairs covered with spider webs and leaves, a quick sweep would take care of that. The grill outside burners don’t work that great. Would look nicer outside if the old dock had been removed. Positives, had all the kitchen accessories & cleaning things we needed, towels & linens plenty.Great time with the kayaks, paddle boards & row boat.

Summary: This was our first visit to New York and this was a great place to stay! Very clean and plenty of room. Excellent view of the lake and very nice location. Excellent communication with the owner. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had so much fun! The house was clean and had everything we needed, like sugar and coffee and all cooking utensils. They even offered Halloween treats like candy and pretzels as a snack! Every text and question was answered immediately! Relaxing, serene and fun is all I can say!!

Summary: What a gem! We loved our time in Broadalbin. Close enough to stores to grab anything you may have forgotten, but feels super remote as soon as you turn onto the private drive. We enjoyed the kayaks and the quiet serene lake. Lots of wildlife, very relaxing. House had everything we needed and more.

Summary: The house is in a secluded, quiet spot looking out on Galway lake. The living room leads to a closed in porch both with broad views of the lake. The downstairs family room does also. The house was quite clean and well provided for in terms of towels, linens etc. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and dining. The amenities described in the VRBO listing were accurate. The location is about 20 minutes from Saratoga Springs and 15 minutes from Amsterdam.

Summary: The lake is just beautiful and being able to take the kayaks out around the lake on a weekday and be the only ones there was incredibly peaceful. Highly recommend this place!
