Summary: Every year our family rents a VRBO for a family weekend in lieu of birthday presents. We have a weekend of food, fun and laughter. Or family consists of six adults and two grandsons almost 13 and almost 17. We center our weekends around water sports such as fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and RC boats. The house at Lake Whatcom was perfect! For the first time the house and location were better than the picture description. A beautiful home that was spotless. We very much enjoyed the wood working skills that were evident everywhere. The outdoor patio was equally as beautiful as the house. The ground were immaculate.Then there was the beach area. It was perfect for our family. A great variety of beach toys and a great protected cove for RC boats.We hope to visit here again!!

Summary: We have a delightful time. This home is spotless and cozy, there was plenty of space for many adults. The amenities were perfect and the directions on how to use everything was seamless. The owner was thoughtful and repsonsive. We had a blast and would stay again......a true sanctuary near hikes and the lake!

Summary: We had so much fun at this vacation home! Our group had mix of pre-teens, adults and senior citizens and everyone had something to click for them here. Our pup loved hanging out on the patio and our pre-teen daughter just loved the loft bedroom. Location of the house is wonderful, its easy access to lake and landscape is so photogenic. House was clean and had all the essentials stocked. Will definitely look forward to visiting again in summer!

Summary: I originally booked this place because my grandson is really into fishing and this place is right on Lake Whatcom with a private dock, so it seemed ideal. There were also paddle boards and a paddle boat and I was looking forward to using both. If only the weather had cooperated. We had one sunny day (our first) and then a lot of wind and rain. My kids and grandkids did get out on the lake that first day. My grandson fished every day but did not get one fish. However, all that was OK because just sitting out on the deck off the living room was something I could do all day and night. We all took turns in the hot tub and had many poker and pool tournaments. The house is so beautiful inside and out and is on a huge piece of property. We would love to come back in the summer.
