Positive: Perfect location with amazing views from the Villa on the lake and sea. A lot of good tavernas are nearby with great food and good prices. The host was really nice and helpful. We enjoyed our vacation there.

Negative: Some furniture and facilities need repair or replacement.

Positive: Stunning views, great location (several fabulous tavernas within 5-10 mins walk), air conditioning in every room and great communication from owner. Close to features on north coast - amazing beaches, Rethymno, Georgioupoli and supermarkets.

Negative: Some TLC needed in and around property, facilities of an age (all working and reflected in price). Close to neighbours, both sets during our stay were no issue.

Summary: Highly recommended in a great location with stunning views.

Positive: Good location for the family. Great views of the lake, sea and surrounding hills/scenery. Balconies, especially the larger with seating was great. Great size for family of 4 (bedroom-wise could comfortably accommodate max 6 if not all adults). Great inside storage and size of fridge/freezer. Very clean space throughout. Personable, helpful and welcoming owner. Great pool and outside space.

Negative: Only one bathroom (understood there was two, however this was a w/c only). Poor sanitation odour on occasion (appreciate that this is a common problem). Would have benefited from a parasol outside and updated finishing inside the house.

Summary: Excellent location, wonderful and welcoming Cretans, accommodation was great.

Positive: It's an amazing location just hovering over Lake Kournas. It's beautiful 😍. The villa is lovely and well equipped. Very clean, facilities are good with ice cold air con. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend it. We loved everything from start to finish.

Positive: This is the place that you would dream of. Fantastic location and gorgeous views. We all felt the atmosphere of Crete and definitely would like to come back there. Highly recommended place where you would like to run away from noisy places and chill out.
