Positive: House was comfortable, clean and perfect home base for our family.

Negative: The shower downstairs water was too hot, and the bathroom upstairs was very tight squeez when you try to open the door. Other than that, we loved this location

Positive: I loved the ease of access to the highways and towns. It was nice to have a whole home and not have to look for parking. It has a cottage feel from the outside. Good on short notice for a quick trip into the cape without having to deal with too much traffic.

Negative: There is only AC units in some rooms. The back upstairs room does not have one. None of them were on when we arrived, the house was a sauna with 2 kids on a 98 degree day. We ended up sleeping on the couches downstairs the first night bc the kids couldn’t sleep in the other room due to the heat and no AC in it. The floors were NOT cleaned. We walked across them and our feet and socks were black. The kitchen table was wobbly and almost fell over when my father put his cup on it. He fixed it himself this weekend. While it has a cottage feel, a lot of things are dated. The window in the main floor bathroom has mold growing and would get wet everytime someone showered.

Summary: Decent Location, Dates for Price.

Positive: I thought the house was wonderful. A nice clean cape. Very welcoming and cozy house. Kitchen was small but nice and has everything you need. Neighborhood is lovely.

Negative: Both showers - Bottom shower is just hot water, no matter how you adjust the temp knob. Second floor shower is just cool water. TV in the L.R. could be a bit bigger and the grass needed mowing.

Summary: A wonderful stay. We will book there again if we need to go back up to Mass.

Positive: The apartment was exactly as described by the host in the description and was in a great location for the beach and amenities. All the rooms are quite spacious. The free Wi-Fi is really good and has access to some uk Tv channels, Netflix and Amazon using your own passwords. There are 3 supermarkets all within a 10 to 15 walking distance, a Lidl, mercadona and 1 up the hill opposite bonanza square, the host provides a shopping trolley. There are a few small shops directly opposite for bread and milk ect. The balcony faces the sun all day from 11am, so perfect for sunbathers. The bedrooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but could do with a salad leaf spinner and pizza tray for the oven and some scissors. There is a beautiful view from the kitchen window down to the big wheel at the marina. The on-site parking was perfect. The outdoor pool was not in use, but it was a good size and surrounded by real grass. There was an outdoor shower being built ready for summer 2024. Cardiac hill is not an issue and within 3 days you are walking around the area feeling fitter and stronger :-) There is a really good Indian restaurant on the corner at the bottom of the hill that serves big portions if you don’t want to go out. I would give the place a 10/10 but had to downgrade due to the things I disliked

Negative: We arrived on Friday the 10th of November for 6 weeks and on Monday 13th of November the hotel Bali started comprehensive building works directly opposite. The builders worked from 7am to 8pm 7 days a week! The most annoying machine was the forklift or mini crane which seemed to bleep none stop. Therefore, the opportunity to relax at the apartment on a morning was not an option or when you came back on an evening until after 7pm. It was impossible to have an afternoon siesta. We were unable to leave the sliding doors open or hang out our washing due to the amount of dust flying about from the building site and the frequent strong winds. Despite closing the doors we were having to brush and clean the apartment every day :-( Martin said he was not aware of the works but the Hotel Bali clearly mentions them on booking.com. The Bali hotel says they will only take place Monday to Saturday but they actually worked on a Sunday which really surprised us. Finally, there is a horrendous sewage smell from the main bathroom, thankfully we didn’t really use this too often and a Spanish friend said this is quite common in Spain, so take a strong air freshener. Despite my honest review which I have done to warn other travellers, I would book the accommodation again once the works were completed and once I knew what the new building was for. The apartment could do with a couple of small coffee tables next to the sofa for cups or glasses rather than use the floor. we improvised and used 2 dining chairs. We also had to tighten the screws on the dining chairs because some of them had become loose. We placed 2 of the worst of the 6 against the wall of the dining table to prevent any accidents.

Summary: Perfect location and apartment but our holiday was ruined due to building works directly opposite

Positive: Location is perfect. Building is quiet and everything needed nearby. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, clean and fully equipped apartment.

Negative: Full length mirror would be nice - at least for ladies ; )
