Positive: We stay here every year and find it very comfortable and clean. Comes with a lovely view of the lake. Unlike so many hotels these days, someone comes in and tidys up the room, makes the bed, and gives us clean towels. The towels, btw, are big, fluffy and do the job perfectly.

Negative: My only complaint is that the sound proofing in the rooms isn't great. However, they do provide ear plugs.

Positive: Location was great and beautiful views across the lake. The free usage of the boats and kayaks was a bonus and enjoyable. Room was clean and comfortable.

Negative: No breakfast available and local eatery was far to walk. No water in the room.

Positive: Beautiful location would like to come back when weather was better. Interesting building and history. For me the bed was very comfortable

Negative: Not really the lodges fault but someone checked in around one in the morning and between the staff showing the where to park and the people coming in and out it was very loud for 10-15 minutes .

Positive: Extremely clean room, the lake is beautiful, excellent amenities for a sunny day at the lake, a lakeside campfire or inside the Tavern on a rainy day - games, games and more games! Staff was welcoming and friendly.

Negative: Paper thin walls - it’s an older inn so not much could be done about it but the snoring in the room next to us was a lot to listen to, and there’s no ceiling sound insulation so the noises from upstairs are not always subtle. The lake view was beautiful but there is a hallway with windows between the room windows so no privacy if you want to look at the lake from in your room.
