Luxurious detached house for 2/3 people in a large agricultural estate and horse farm. The property is in turn encased in a huge green lung of woods, meadows and wildlife reserve. The deer are at night to sneak hay to the horses, foxes make marameo our dachshunds and we all live with joy the beauty of this magical place.
The house consists of a living room, a double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and a small private garden. Wherever furniture and furnishings of antiques and Tuscan 800 paintings, Macchiaioli of the private collection of the property. Breakfast and catering in the villa on request are prepared after appropriate agreements.
Satellite TV and internet access are included. Possibility of a third bed. A large pellet stove rejoices in the winter evenings. Dogs are welcome.

Summary: Host was very helpful, recommending restaurants and places of interest to visit. Accommodation was clean. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery. There was the addition of a bbq if you preferred. The bed was very comfortable. My one suggestion would be to update the bedding. It was dated and although clean could do with a refresh. If you are an animal lover this property is perfect for you. Horses, donkeys, cats and dogs all on the property, plus lots of local wildlife to see.

Summary: What a wonderful find - a breathtakingly beautiful area, lovely accommodation and a truly kind, friendly family. Whether you want to relax by the pool, looking into the countryside beyond to spot deer, or explore the stunning Lake Maggiore and surrounding areas - this is the ideal place from which to do it. There is an abundance of animal life at the property, (cats, dogs, horses, donkey, deer) and fantastic scenery all around. We could never tire of the nearby stunning mountain views, or swimming in the beautiful lake and eating at the many outstanding restaurants on offer - we are already planning when to return! Thank you Cristina and family for a wonderful holiday!

Summary: We spent a week in August in this appartment with our dog Driek. It was a perfect week; the appartment, the pool, the hospitality and the nice dogs of Cristina, the calmness of the area! We all enjoyed it and loved it. We can recommend this appartment to every person who likes serenity and wants to relax. But it is also a great place to visit the lakes in the neighborhood or to visit Milan! In short: for us it was a perfect holiday.

Summary: This end of summer we had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful place in the country-side near the Lago maggiore. If you like peace, quiet, horses, cats and dachs-hunde you are in the right place! The appartement was very nicely decorated with a personal atmosphere wich made relaxation a piece of cake. The pool is very nice and you have your own little garden with a view . Christina and her family were very welcoming and had some good tips and information for outings in this area. And if you want to stay at home , there is a well equipped kitchen to cook your own meal. Peter, Guus(our dog)and I had a great time and will for sure consider this homeaway the next time we visit the Lago Maggiore area.

Summary: If you like animals and want to enjoy what the Italian Lake District, and Milan, have to offer without having to suffer from the hordes of tourists, this is the place for you. It is brilliantly located at the feet of the Alps, close to the 7 lakes and their charming towns. The accommodation itself is a tasteful mix of modern and antiques, and sleeps 3 very comfortably. There is a proper fully functional kitchen and a private garden with direct access to the pool from which your eyes are drawn to green fields and woodland, as well as the occasional deer or hawk. The proprietor, Cristina, lives next door with her dogs, cats and horses and is both charming and knowledgeable; happy,to make you feel like a welcome friend, or let you enjoy whatever degree of privacy you desire. A perfect accommodation to be simultaneously close to it all and away from it all, a brilliant find!

Summary: To wright a review about this beautiful place is asking me to wright a romantic novel. For the first time in two years we were able to go on a holiday, our mission was to find a little haven where we, as a small family of three (and our little dog Yoda) could enjoy each other’s company, spend true quality time and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Italy near lake Lago Maggiore. The surroundings ask for a couple taking a few days of in peace and quiet, a business man or woman taking a short trip or a small family like ours just in need of quality time together. Bud if you are alone and need to take some time for yourself this is the place to go. If you want you can eat your dinner with the most breath-taking view over Lago Maggiore just a 10 minute drive away. Your accommodation is large enough for tree persons, it has a kitchen with all the supplies you need to make a Italian breakfast, a small lunch or a complete Dinner. The room is decorated with antiques combined with modern which makes it very cosy bud ask for your respect. The pool side is accompanied by this breath taking view, and at sunset you could spot a deer in the distance. The lady’s of the house, Christina and her daughter Carlotte where truly friendly, kind, helpful and welcoming. For us it was like coming ‘home away from home’ and we could honestly tell you we have found new friends. We will be back.
