Summary: The house as perfect for our multi-state family gathering! The house was beautiful, cozy, clean and comfortable for all 12 of our family members for a long weekend get together. Beautiful views of Lake Como, even in the winter. Great location to “downtown” Lake Geneva and some great restaurants. Highly recommend this stay!

Summary: The house was very nicely stocked and had a very cool gangster history to it. The only downfall was the staircase to go upstairs was a metal spiral staircase and was not kid friendly for the younger ones.

Summary: Our multigenerational family had a great trip Down by the Waters Edge. The kitchen was fully stocked, everything was spotless and there was plenty of room for all of us. The large kitchen was perfect for gathering and storing all the food. Double refrigerators came in handy. Host was very quick to respond and accommodating. . Thanks for a great trip!

Summary: We have been getting together for 18+ years for a yearly girls weekend. This by far has been the best house. So many things to do, beautiful views and many great places to sit and laugh. We especially love the huge kitchen.

Summary: I hosted a long weekend for family and the spaces in the house were perfect. Especially love the upstairs living room where people could chat lte at night without disturbing the other guests. The deck off the dining room, and the view, was amazing and we spent a lot of time outside. Everything was decorated very nicely and was comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

Summary: Overall we all thought it was a great place with a fascinating history. Too bad we couldn't see the closed off basement :( The other issues we had were the beds were too soft and lumpy. I ended up on the couch. I was uncomfortable with my 3 yr old grandson using the spiral stairs and my overweight brother found the stairs had to maneuver. My 6 yr old nephew slipped 2X on the stairs. There could have been more attention given to detailed maintenance. Light bulbs were burnt out, wall sockets didn't work, tree saplings growing near the house and in the bushes. A tool to remove seaweed from beach would have been helpful. Also an outdoor front porch light would be useful.
