Summary: This house is stunning. We spent 3 nights with 9 people in early August. Our first full day was sunny and warm so we played on the lake the whole day. The water toys were great fun. The next day rained all day so it was cards, books and lots of cooking. We did not see another person the entire time. Magical, highly recommend and hope to return.

Summary: Overall we felt it was a nice place, very spacious and we made some wonderful memories. We arrived an hour later than our scheduled check in time. This still did not give the manager enough time to be ready for us. Apparently, the previous guests used up all the propane for this off grid home and ran the batteries down as well so the manager spent a couple hours trying to fix the issue along with the owners. The house was beautiful but was a little tired and worn.The home was not cleaned as well as one would expect. Probably due to the power issues.The outdoor grill was caked with chicken parts and BBQ sauce was spilled on the side countertops. We had two bats come out every night. I think they came in from the lower level. At first we tried to catch them but gave up and lived with them coming out every night. The refrigerator kept leaking water onto our food causing things to get wet and soggy. It looks like the freezer was the issue.If your have young children, health issues or older, the hill down to the water was a bit treacherous! Once you hit the water line area down by the lake it's seriously rocky and hard to get a good footing. There was no place except for the dock or water devices to comfortably sit. We did book this at the end of July and the water level was very low so this was the reason for the issues.I asked my kids if they would want us to rent this again and they said no because of the steep grade down to the water for the children.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the lake. Amazing hiking at Lewis river, cruised the lake and fished on the pontoon boat, swam under the waterfall, and just relaxed on the decks. It very comfortably fit our group of 11. Thank you for sharing this lovely property with us!

Summary: An awesome place; clean and exactly as described! Jean, the property manager, was very communicative and responsive. Big family meals and a grand time at the lake. Loved the access to hiking trails and Ape Cave is a must do for the adventurous. We had a fantastic time.

Summary: The house was fabulous and spacious! We had 11 family members and it was totally stocked with everything we needed. We felt right at home and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and great porch deck and scenery right out the back door. The lake was beautiful and we took the canoe to the waterfall! Very calm and peaceful and no problems! Greatest vacation yet for us who have never traveled to the Pacific Northwest! Thank you!
