Summary: Watching the sun come up over the lake each morning with a cup of coffee in hand, was breathtakingly beautiful! Bugs were not bad, and I pretty much lived in the screen porch. Town is just a couple of minutes away, excellent coffee shop and Mercantile. I regret not taking the time to fish, will do that next year for sure! Seeing a bear the evening before I left was a bonus treat!

Summary: The property was great. The cabin was well stocked. And was a great getaway for our family. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks! The wifi worked great. The adults enjoyed the fire pit and the scenery. The beds were comfortable. We will definitely be staying here again.

Summary: We had great luck fishing-6 "keeper" Bass! Recommend taking the kayaks bc the motor on the boat is less than adequate. The constant highway noise is a definite negative-but the location is convenient, the lake is very quiet and the accommodations are comfortable. Appreciate the free (well burning!) firewood! Had a terrible scare on our last night when the next occupant showed up a day early and was trying to get into the cabin!!
