Summary: Our family was traveling together and at times, there were 12 of us. This home is spacious and comfortable, beautifully updated. It is lakefront and the view is incredible. Our hosts were great. Thank you to the Millers.

Summary: Beautiful and spacious home on picturesque lake. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be a great getaway. The house is warm, inviting, clean, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. We spent every evening out on the dock and back porch area looking at the gorgeous lake. Excellent communication with Christine before, during and after trip. The neighbors were also very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We are already planning a trip back this summer!

Summary: If I could give this property and hosts more than 5 stars, I would! If you are looking for a remote, serene retreat for absolutely any reason. look no more! You have found it. There were supposed to be 12 of us, ended up only being 8 and this lake house was perfect. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about the location and sleeping arrangements, especially with the separate studio apartment. However, we were pleasantly surprised at how big and beautiful the house was(is) And how well the sleeping arrangement worked out. Since we only used the upstairs studio for sleeping it did not interfere with our family time. My husband, mother-in-law, 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren had the best time on this little lake. We never left except to go to the grocery store (which is about 20-25 minutes away) and a couple trips to Dollar General (literally the only store in "town"). This was exactly what we needed. We played games, sat by the outside firepits (a large one in the yard & one at the end of the dock) and fished off the dock for 5 days and loved every minute of it. And the hosts...They were that absolute BEST! I have never had such accommodating host. The first day we had trouble figuring out some light switches and I text and sked her to come show me what we were doing wrong and she came right over. They showed us so much hospitality that I couldn't possibly list everything. Let's just say they went above and beyond, made us feel like we'd been friends forever. But don't worry, if that's not your thing-they will give you the space you want. Also, I should add that we brought things to do; games, puzzles, cards, fishing poles, and even chairs for the firepit. We got there and were pleasantly surprised to discover we could have left every single thing at home and would have had everything we needed. In fact we never took the chairs out of the truck and I'm not sure we even played any of the games we actually brought. The boys did use the poles they brought because you know a fishing pole is like a bowling ball-if you have your own, you want to use it. and let me add...This place has amazing sunset an sunrise views! The sun/moon on the water is mesmerizing! Be warned though...there is nothing to do unless you want to drive 30-60 minutes. But I can say-there is absolutely NO reason to leave. We are already planning a trip back over the summer! This place is spectacular, if you choose this property, you will not be disappointed!
