Summary: Love that the property was just as seen in photos. Plenty of room for 7 adults and a toddler. Although the lake was down, it was a nice place to have a chill weekend. House was equipped with everything needed.

Summary: This property exceeded all expectations! One of the nicest rental properties I’ve ever stayed in. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone staying in the Bluffton area. Unfortunately the lake was unbelievably low but the view from the back patio was still spectacular. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house was plenty spacious.

Summary: This property has been updated to include a patio fireplace, above ground pool and walk in showers. The large, updated patio provides a commanding view of the lake and wildlife. The property is located on a quiet peninsula of Lake Buchanan. It is a great place to spend time with family and friends. It was my second visit to this property and will plan another stay in the near future. The property owners respond to questions promptly.

Summary: The house was great. Very clean. Very cutely decorated and nicely done. We loved the open kitchen/living space, it was perfect for hanging out, cooking together, eating, watching movies. It did rain most of our weekend but that was okay because the house was so comfortable. Plenty of sleeping space too. We did enjoy the private beach a couple of afternoons - our own little "redneck riviera" LOL It was nice and clean. Overall we had a wonderful weekend and would recommend this house for small families, girlfriends groups or other small groups. Would be great for anyone with kids to enjoy the beach area and the large yard.

Summary: We liked the rooms in the house, including the beds and bathrooms. We liked the beach very much. In general, it was a nice place to stay, although rather expensive. the only complaint we had was that the main water pipe broke and couldn't be fixed the night it happened. So we couldn't stay in the house without water to bathe and flush commodes. My son and his wife packed everything and left that night for a 5 hour drive to their home, because they couldn't make it without water with two toddlers. We were very fortunate, and stayed with my daughter in a house nearby, so the inconvenience was less for us than for them. If we had had to find a room in a hotel, it would have been a real problem. IN their favor, the house owner was easy to reach by phone and sent a contractor to look at the pipe right away, but he couldn't fix it. The beach was nice enough to entice us back next year, if we can't find a house with a similarly nice beach that is less expensive. The house was overpriced. My son and daughter-in-law chose it, and I went along with their choice.
