Positive: The property was big, clean and with everything you could need. Parking was easy for two cars. Just outside Oban in a quiet area. We would recommend The Barn restaurant nearby. Downstairs bedroom an asset.

Negative: Three bedrooms upstairs with one bathroom linked to one. The toilet downstairs didn't flush properly, I tried to report this but no-one responded. The reception for the lodges on the site is attached to the house, it wasn't manned resulting in a stranger wandering in to the property one afternoon asking lots of questions I couldn't answer.

Positive: Very comfortable cottage. It's warm and cosy, good facilities and great location. The kitchen was great, beds were comfortable and everything was modern. We were a group of 10 friends and we thought it was the perfect place for a getaway.

Negative: No welcome folder pack explaining where to find things. No obvious instructions for any appliances. Had to ask wardens about heating then after becoming too hot had to figure out ourselves how to turn heat off. Cobwebs everywhere. Marked walls. No extra toilet rolls provided. Lamp in my bedroom not working. Place looks great in photos but in reality the house is distinctly tired.

Summary: For us - not worth it for the money.
