Positive: Lovely friendly family. Bed was hard but comfy. Bathroom large. We underpacked so were a bit cold so make sure you pack something warm! Amazing views and very generous meal portions!

Positive: My wife and I'm really enjoyed our stay here. The couple who host are friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed both dinner (for a small extra fee) and breakfast here. A lovely location if you want somewhere quiet and out of town, but fairly close to Dong Van. It was a chilly evening, so we appreciated the extra blanket. Great communication with the host also.

Negative: As seems to be typical of this style of building, there is no heating. However, we doubt this would be an issue most of the year. The last 200m of road to their property is not for the inexperienced motorbike driver, however, I enjoyed the challenge. If this is a concern for you, contact the host.

Positive: My favourite hosts so far! Great company, unique food each day and morning, peaceful and out of the way location with great views.

Negative: Only downside is that that road to get there can be a bit muddy if it has rained and can be a bit choppy to get to if not confident.

Positive: Amazing please immersed in Nature . We had an amazing dinner with the family and the rest of the guests , they treated us like family. You can take the side road to the flag viewpoints from there.

Positive: Beautiful place, amazing views. You'll sleep just in front of China border. Incredible friendly hosts. Clean, quiet, hot water, good food, tea. Everything was perfect. This homestay really worth more than 10/10. If you're a traveler, who doesn't look for 3-5 star hotels, this Laco Homestay is for you. Family will take care of you, feed you. You'll feel yourself like at home, really.. Thank you very much..

Negative: Last couple hundred meters of the road wasn't easy to drive, but it's just like nothing. If I done it, you also will 😉 And probably when you're reading this, they already fixed it..

Positive: The family hosting us were lovely! The view to the mountains was so dreamy, we really enjoyed our meals, big portions and so delicious. Also they grow their own mushrooms (how cool is that?). It was also our first time sleeping in a hard mattress and it was surprisingly comfortable for us. We were doing the Ha giang loop and this was the best homestay we stayed on ❤️ thank you for the stay and the hammocks!!
