Positive: This is the type of accommodation where the host makes all the difference. Absolutely lovely lady who is very hospitable and accommodating. Location was good (for me) as I had to attend a business event nearby. Price is very acceptable in regards to the location being in London. Everything was exceptionally clean.

Negative: There were some downfalls unfortunately. The door to the room could not be locked. The bed is a pullout couch and was quite hard to lie on. I did not sleep very comfortable. The aquarium in the room was very noisy, but could be turned off. One thing I would absolutely recommend is making clear in the offering that you're renting a room and not an appartement. I was quite surprised seeing the owner of the house when checking in. Might be that I did not read correctly, but I was in the assumption I was renting an appartement, including kitchen, bathroom and outside area. The kitchen was not accessible during my stay (locked), the bathroom was shared (shared with multiple guest and the owner and her son) and I did not see the outside area.

Summary: For being in London I would absolutely recommend. Value for money compared to other hotels!

Positive: Very friendly owner, good communication, exceptionally clean house, comfortable room with a big TV and colourful lights that make it look magical. Calm area, 3 minutes walk to nice pub with good pizza

Positive: The room was very good. The house was set in an appealing street. It was well connected to the London stadium at Stratford.The buses ran late and there was a night bus available.

Negative: Not a dislike but I would like to have seen tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
