Positive: The staff were exceptionally responsive -- from Anil who checked us in to Daia and Senthil and Karuna who served us dinner, and everyone else we encountered. The decor was minimalist, the rooms were spacious and bright, and the location was convenient for walking around. We had a couple of meals at the hotel, both of which were outstanding -- the moringa soup and the poached egg with bacon powder are must-haves.

Negative: There's no elevator, which was a bit of a pain. We didn't envy the staff who had to lug our bags all the way up and down. Fortunately it didn't rain, otherwise it would have been even more of a hassle to climb the outdoor spiral staircase to the room. There were plenty of mosquitoes everywhere despite Good Night, mosquito coils, etc. -- though Odomos spray was abundantly available.

Positive: Amazing food and service. Very cosy and homey, and even a bit trendy/cool vibe. Felt very personal. I travelling alone and it was great for that too.
