Summary: The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The property was lovely with a nice pool and many nice out door and indoor sitting areas. Breakfast was very good and the dinner choices were nice. The hosts and staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely stay.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this villa. The room was simple but well appointed. Clean and very comfortable. The villa is located in a hill within the trees above the river. Very quiet and peaceful. The attached restaurant was excellent, but was only serving one of the nights we were there because they were hosting a wedding on the weekend. This made food options very limited. Luckily we had a car and could get ourselves to some outstanding restaurants in local villages. We highly recommend La Villa Romaine.

Summary: Room was very nice for such a reasonable price. We ate at the restaurant once which is a bit fancy but still fairly priced for dinner. We especially liked the oversized but very soft towels.
