Summary: I was here to visit my daughter at Ithaca College. Overall the hotel was nice. I think it could use a little updating, but it was cozy and the room was spacious. My one disappointment was that because of my daughter's schedule, I knew I would be doing some meals alone. When I booked here, they had a full restaurant on site and a lounge with a bar menu. But when I was there, the restaurant was permanently closed and the lounge was not serving food. I was not made aware of this until I went down to grab dinner before my daughter's concert, so I had to scramble to find a quick meal somewhere else. I did enjoy a spa treatment there. The August Moon Spa was very nice and I recommend Garth as a masseuse. I also took a lovely hike by using a path at the back of the property that connects to the upper part of Buttermilk Falls. Overall, it is a lovely hotel that is more peaceful than the downtown hotels and close to Ithaca College.

Summary: This hotel made me smile as I was walking in the charming hotel doors. The mums and beautiful elegant lobby is so inciting. If you get a cup of tea or unlimited free coffee you can lounge by the window enjoying the change of foliage. Dog friendly hotel and grounds. Beautiful👍

Summary: We had a room on the ground floor with a terrace that led out to the grounds which was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bedding was comfortable. Only two complaints: water pressure less than ideal and the soundproofing was poor. Likely because it’s an old property but when other guests talk outside or close their doors in the morning it woke me up every time.
