Positive: We were visiting family in the area, and found this place nearby. It's Switzerland, so everything was clean and everything worked. The surrounding area is beautiful: Lake Geneva and the Alps are in front of you and the Jura are behind you. Vineyards surround all the villages. This is definitely one of the prettiest corners on the planet. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The property is also a vineyard, and we bought a couple of bottles of very acceptable wine during our stay.

Negative: The beds are up a rather difficult staircase, so if you have mobility issues this may be a problem. Once upstairs, there are two small beds and very little space. Downstairs, again space is very limited. However, unlike some listings, the photos of La Tourelle are quite accurate, and don't use tricks to make the space seem larger than it is. On the whole, La Tourelle offered what we expected when we booked.

Positive: Breakfast not included at this location. Tartegnin was a lovely small village just 2-3 km from Lake Geneva and centrally located to all day trips we took (Bern, Lausanne, Morges, Geneva, etc.). Perfectly located and relaxing among the vineyards. The owner was VERY accomodating to all of our needs.

Negative: The only aspect of the stay which worked for us, but possibly not for others with some mobility issues was the staircase leading to the loft bedroom. We are both 66 yrs old and had no problems, but it could be difficult for others. Not a huge place, but perfect for a couple!!

Summary: Such a relaxing village and stay. Quiet, convenient, picturesque, romantic...everything & more!

Positive: This place is a winery with one room, in a small village among vineyards. Room has 2 floors, beds in upper part. The setting are beautiful but no special viewpoint. Breakfast is products in the room the evening before, was ok

Negative: You need to find the owner, Monique, other staff do not speak English and don't know anything
