Positive: Owners Franco and son are very likeable and welcoming. Property was recently renovated simply but with clean and modern decor. Vicinity to some shops and excellent bars for breakfast. Parking on the street was easily found. Good size shower. Common kitchen area with good coffee and tea making supplies. Large common terrace.

Negative: Castelvolturno in general is a run down area within approx 45 min drive from main city centres. However La Terrazza itself is surrounded by decent properties. Only one bedside lamp, and two easily accessed sockets. The toilet flush valve makes a terribly loud noise for about 10 seconds every time it is used. The hot water boiler is rather small, only sufficient for taking two consecutive showers of normal duration, or for three very quick showers.

Summary: A good place to stay for work or family reasons, or if access to the beaches is a priority
