Summary: The hotel was very clean and updated. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating. A hot breakfast was served every day. Excellent hotel, highly recommended.

Summary: For the first time that we have stayed in Louisiana it was a great place to stay! We met some other friendly travelers there that we visited with over breakfast.

Summary: Bed was not comfortable. No curtains on window, bright lights shining in all night. On a busy highway and next to railroad track, very loud. Was only here for one night to attend a funeral, won’t be back.

Summary: I couldn’t have picked a better hotel. If you’re looking to relax, this was the perfect location. 20 mins from the airport, 30 mins from New Orleans, 1 hour from Baton Rouge. It was far enough away to be relaxing but close enough to enjoy everything around.

Summary: Unfortunately it was pretty terrible. First the WIFI wasn't working in that room -too far from the router - they offered me another room -but a dog was barking like crazy across the hall that was left alone in the room. So I opted for sleep over wifi -even though I had an important conference call to attend in the morning. Then, the first towel I found had several large holes in it -so I took it to the front desk. Then as I was getting ready to get into bed and pulled the comforter back it was shredded with HUGE holes all around the edges- especially at the top. Then I found two large holes on the sheet on that bed as well! I called the front desk and Rachel come up and took photos. It was midnight by now. In the morning -the wifi was still too weak to use in the room, so I went to the breakfast area 30 minutes after they closed breakfast to do the call (as the receptionist had suggested) but the cleaning person decided to not just clean -but right up next to me and very loudly even though I was tucked away in the corner from the main area. I asked her to give me 10 more minutes -she said sure -but then kept cleaning -even louder. The hotel agreed the situation wasn't good -but because I booked on hotels.com they couldn't give me a refund -but gave me points on their hotels website if I signed up -which turns out to be a fairly small amount. Pretty terrible stay -but..the front desk women I dealt with were very kind to address the issues to the best of their ability.
