Positive: Very convenient and safe location on our drive to Oakland. The continental breakfast was an awesome offering & the dining set up was clean and welcoming.

Negative: Everything seemed a bit worn and dated. The carpet on the entry stairs felt dirty and worn, our headboards in the room were cut into & scraped up. These things made a B+ hotel stay feel more like a D-.

Summary: The staff was very friendly and the bedding and pillows were comfortable.

Positive: Breakfast had variety. They did have a yogurt machine that didn’t work and no sign however someone was always checking food supply and told us there was yogurt at the end of the food line.Nice setting . Bed was very comfortable. No street noise

Negative: At 8:30 we went to bed to watch tv. Only one battery in the remote. Called to the desk but she said she was the only one and come get new batteries. Not in my pajamas! At 10:45 someone called was that the desk about the battery. In the morning my husband had to go to the desk for the battery. Why is there a notice in the room about no housekeeping because of Covid. We only stayed one night if longer would we have clean towels. Elevator needed vacuuming same piece of paper on floor both days. Bathroom door didn’t shut room smell musty.

Summary: Housekeeping should check tv remotes only would take a moment

Positive: Ample parking.

Negative: I was not told at the time of check-in that I should request housekeeping to clean my room. The next day I checked with the front desk, and they asked me if I requested it. I said no, because no one told me to request it. My room was cleaned the next day. The following day, I requested room service and no one came. I was in my room, and no one came and checked. If I'm in my room and I requested room service, housekeeping should have come by to ask or say something, no one came. Not sure if I will book there again.
