Negative: The Laquinta in Batavia has problems. I planned ahead so I would surely get a room. The day before I received a text asking my check in time. I replied with 3. I asked if a late checkout was available and was told it was 40 dollars to stay from 1 to 3. I said fine I would be staying. Upon arrival at 4:10 I was told the room wasn't ready...certainly glad I didn't arrive at 3 because I would've had to wait even longer. It was about 10 after five before we could get checked in. Then, because they clearly dont communicate well as staff, I am told there is no late checkout so I show my phone with the night before conversation after late checkout for 40 dollars. So the girl called the owner...who said I could stay for 55 dollars more. The price went up overnight by 15 bucks. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast waffles, eggs fruit,yogurt ,cereal etc. Communication gets a big fat zero. As I am writing this, I just got a knock on the door so I had to call down and remind that I am not leaving until 3pm. Aggravating. In conclusion, had to wait until 5 to check in (that should make up for the late checkout since 2 of my hours weren't available), told no late checkout until I showed the conversation so that is a lie. AND the price went up 15 bucks overnight for the late check in fee. Ridiculous Also, shampoo was empty
