4 Bedroom Cottage in Martincano, Gallegos

In August 2017 we inaugurated the Reconstruction of a block and its farmhouse in Gallegos at the foot of La Sierra de Guadarrama, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Madrid, 25 minutes from Segovia, 8 km from Pedraza and 5 km from the jet Navafría and its natural pools.
Small town that offers us river, mountain and paths to discover.
The Pedraza Casa Rural A&B have been rehabilitated in 2017 maintaining the typology of the place preserving the Arabic tile, wood, mud and stone in its reconstruction, we also incorporate the artistic forging creating unique environments, large spaces where you can relax observing the mountains from large windows of more than two meters.
They are two complete rural houses that can be rented together or separately, La Pedraza A with a total of 8 seats plus extra beds can accommodate up to 12 seats and La Pedraza B with 4 seats plus extra beds can accommodate 6 seats.
The two houses each have their own garden, pool and private barbecue.
They are very well connected and have parking at the same access door.
The idea is for the host to feel the nearby Nature and enjoy the surroundings from a large warm and welcoming space.
We have a garden with lawn and pool as well as a barbecue area.
I hope that thanks to you, this lodging houses a thousand stories between its walls and the project will eventually take shape and mature like good wine.

Summary: Despiste the fact that the house was located in a lovely rural village and was spacious with good character, it lacked hospitality facilities for families with young children to accomadate comfortably for their holiday. Advitised was a washing machine however, it was not plumbed in and even if it was there was no where or equipment to dry clothes. No screen on the shower which led to endless mopping, which is not what you want to do on your holiday. Swimming pool is small and new but with no heating to it even in August it is extremely cold. The terrace with sun parasol broke constantly to the point where we were fed up of fixing it. Basically, without writing a full essay, it can be summed in highly over priced for what is offered. The owner was contacted on numerous of occasions but answered always with the same comment of the house is in progress for improvement. I therefore believe that if this is the case, it must be stated beforehand and the price needs to be reduced to match what is offered.
