Positive: I had a perfect experience. If you're looking for a nice, roomy, and clean place to stay, I highly recommend it. You get to see the real side of the Romanian countryside right in front of you, with a warm and hard-working host who makes you feel special and right at home. His knowledge of the area and nearby attractions only adds to the value of the place, especially since the location is great for easily reaching many amazing spots around. What stayed with me the most was the sense of inner peace I felt relaxing on the terrace after a full day, surrounded by flowers, just soaking in the silence—only crickets, night birds, and maybe a distant dog now and then (which only added to the charm) and not to mention the beautiful display of stars in the sky. It's usually hard for me to clear my head and just enjoy the moment, but there, it came naturally. You have everything you need—comfort and plenty of options—all wrapped in a simplicity that even Japanese culture would admire. I’ll definitely be back—I even promised that to Csilla, the sweet little dog living there 🥰

Negative: I have absolutely nothing to complain about. I wish I could have stayed much more time.

Positive: Very nice accommodation near national park Retezat, perfect spot for start of a hiking adventure. Clean and spacious, with a nice garden and very well quipped communal kitchen. Internet was working fine. Communication via app/ whats app was quick and easy. Older generation of the owners - who actually run the accommodation on the spot are very kind, but unfortunately don't speak English. The communication via phone was with the granddaughter who responds quickly and is fluent in english Parking is nice and safe, inside the yard. There is also a very calm and friendly dog who is just lovely.

Negative: There was a slight issue with the shower hose but nothing serious.

Summary: Nice and clean , homey - at a perfect location to start your hike.

Positive: The place is fantastic a small house where you sleep well because it's a lot of silence inside and cool (even if there is no air conditioning). it is the perfect location for having day trips on the mountain. The host is very nice him and his entire family. You really feel that you are at home.
