Negative: Less squeaky floors maybe! But it is an old (albeit well-modernised) cottage, so to be expected! But it just adds to the atmosphere and character!

Positive: The cottage was as expected. It was well within walking distance of the center of Civray. It offered all the amenities we expected, including TV, strong Wi-Fi, and kitchen supplies. The owner also secured lactose-free milk for us. Parking is available which is real bonus. The cottage is cosy well renovated.

Negative: Parking is available, which is a real bonus, but it is a little tricky to access, having to drive up a steep alley and backing into it. We had no problems but it could be an issue for a large vehicle.
