Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Amazing - one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed! The house was owned by a modern art curator and has been transformed into a stunning hotel so the art and decor throughout the house including the rooms and common areas were incredible, the photos don’t do it justice. It’s a big house with a limited number of rooms so you feel like a guest in a home rather than a hotel. There are multiple lovely common areas throughout the house that you can relax in, all styled beautifully. The terrace at the top was gorgeous with a lovely view, and a relaxing place to have breakfast every day. Breakfast was made up of fresh produce all sourced locally and was delicious. Basil was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. He was friendly, had great suggestions and recommendations in the area. 10/10 we would recommend this place to everyone!
