Positive: We stayed in a lovely tower room accessed by a spiral staircase .Our GPS took us straight there after midnight , as we were delayed on the ferry .Just one ring and the welcoming host arrived . Breakfast next morning was everything you could wish for , croissants , jam , bread , cheeses , cold meats etc.

Negative: Our bed was comfortable but our daughter found the lower single bed a bit hard , bathroom tiny but manageable , everything else was lovely .

Summary: A lovely place to stay an route .

Positive: sadly we had to leave very early so missed breakfast but the kind host left us yoghurts and coffee.

Summary: Falaise is a lovely town and a great stop over en route for boat, this a very comfortable B&B.

Positive: My son and I did a 2 week road trip through France, Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands. This was probably the best stay we had during the whole trip. Although my French is not strong and the host's (Eric's) English was not strong, we really enjoyed interacting with Eric! The breakfast was awesome! I NEVER give 10 out of 10 ratings but I will make an exception for Eric and Sylvie.

Negative: We travelled during the historic heat wave. We understand that air conditioning is not prevalent in Europe and we knew that AC was not included in the booking when we booked so I can not give a lower rating for that but it was the only missing factor that would have made our stay extraordinary. I still give the booking a 10/10 because of the cleanliness, the amazing breakfast and the extreme kindness of Eric and Sylvie! My 18yo son does not get impressed by ANYTHING but he likes to talk about our stay on this night and the kindness and friendliness of Eric and Sylvie!

Positive: As a regular traveller in France, i would say the breakfast is as good as you could possibly get!Good comfortable accommodation, large bed, and a friendly host. Parking only about 25 metres from the property and not far to the centre of town.

Negative: I don't wish to say anything negative about the property or the host. Everything was excellent. Unfortunately, the Bookings.com info is from a previous owner. There is no onsite restaurant, or coffee shop as stated. The units are not fitted with a fridge and coffee machine, although there is a coffee machine in the shared breakfast room downstairs. English is not spoken, and there was no mention in French of any of the items being offered for delivery to the room as described. None of this was a problem for us and we would stay again, but someone has to change the facts in the overall description.

Positive: Eric was an excellent host who explained everything well. The room was elegant and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent - which set us up for a visit to the Chateau and Musee in Falaise.

Negative: I can't think of anything that could have improved our experience.

Positive: A really lovely property, beautifully set up for guests and very convenient for the town. Delicious breakfast and a warm welcome. We were a little surprised to discover that Brigitte and Gilles, with whom we had booked, had just sold up to Silvie and Eric, who had only just moved in 2 days earlier! Warmest congratulations to the new hosts for so seamlessly continuing at such short notice the superb standard that their predecessors had achieved.
