Positive: This stunning old farmhouse in the idyllic southwestern Normandy countryside has been renovated and outfitted with everything you need for relaxing stay. There is nothing to awaken you except birdsong. The hosts are competent, knowledgeable, and unusually friendly. It is ideal for a "slowcation." Every turn in a path or road is a new postcard photo. Castles, the ocean and stunning towns and villages invite you. And the biscuits and cheese of Normandy!

Positive: Anne is a wonderful host and her gite is a perfect base from which to explore this fascinating area of France. We visited in October and found the property to be spacious, clean and very cozy despite the cold weather. The lounge with pellet-fired wood burner is a particularly lovely place to relax after a day out. Along with a spacious interior, there are also really beautiful gardens to enjoy in any season. In summary, we loved our stay and will be back next year for sure. Highly recommended - thank you Anne! :)
