Positive: What a gem! We just needed a stopover on the way to the Apls, but despite the reasonable price this felt like part of the holiday. The building itself has so much history with beautiful big beams and turrets in the grounds. Our hosts showed us before and after pics of the renovation and also had a meal available for just 15 Euros per adult, several courses, local produce - everything was so much better than expected and super charming. You can tell they take lots of pride in their property and cannot do enough to make your stay there comfortable and charming. The large mezzanine lounge had Netflix for the kids. there were little candles on the beds. lots of little details that made it all so lovely.

Negative: Cannot fault this property or its hosts.

Summary: Very charming hidden gem steeped in history and with super hosts - will definitely come back!

Positive: Lovely place, very unique, very kind and proud owners. Highly recommend the dinner and breakfast as well.

Negative: Nothing, maybe that the owners not speak English (and we didn’t speak French), so that was a challenge sometimes. But there were lovely friends around, which solved the language-barrier.

Positive: Very welcoming hosts, great hospitality. Everything is brand new. The pool is nice, the view from the terrace is amazing. Very quiet and relaxing and met some interesting guests around the dinner table. Great value dinner option.

Negative: It’s brand new and the aircon is not yet installed so the rooms in the roof are quite hot. It’s coming soon so maybe call to ask before booking. There’s a ventilator for now. Pillows are huge - I didn’t use mine. A few parasols needed around the pool to accompany the sun loungers.

Summary: Lovely relaxing convivial place to spend a couple of nights.

Positive: When looking for an accommodation in the area we went for a studio with cooking facilities, a washing machine and a TV. It turned out to be a B&B instead due to erroneous registration by Booking (the place is brand new, open for just a week before we arrived). Nevertheless, we enjoyed a most hospitable reception by Marie and Gerard who had turned an old stable into paradise on earth. Rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable and quiet. The view from the garden is absolutely astonishing. It's a perfect starting point to explore the area and a sweet retreat from the hustle of a big city.

Negative: Nothing worth mentioning. The place is still under development, it will be 100% perfect in no time.

Positive: Attractive outside, and inside very spacious landing areas upstairs.

Negative: Room was like a small box. No openable window, small unreachable skylight only window, so no ventilation, or view. Access was up five or six steps with no railings, so dangerous. Rooms were up three flights of stairs already. Bed had wooden support in the middle,that hurt your legs if you didn’t realize it was there. Pillows were lumpy made of flock, possibly. Luckily we had our own in the car, just in case. Bare wires on wall where tv should have been mounted ( not that we needed a tv), showing an unfinished project. No hairdryer. Property had been given a ten by your ratings which was partly why we chose it. We could have been in a cupboard in a railway station, anywhere in the world, for all you’d see from the room. A terrible waste of potential, as building was lovely and interesting, just the room was awful. Probably more suited to very fit youngsters, used to cheaper accommodation, like some hostels, though most hostels we’ve visited, have had better rooms than this. It was spotless.

Summary: Disappointing. Three of four box units put into a lovely spaces and called bedrooms.
