Positive: The location was absolutely beautiful, it felt so quiet and secluded with an amazing view of the sea. We loved being in nature and enjoyed the walk through the forest to get to the shop and restaurant. One of our highlights was the breakfast at the property; the array of homemade pastries, fruits, jams, scrambled eggs and juices was delicious and we looked forward to our breakfast with a view every morning. The owners were helpful and even offered to drive us down to the station for our early morning train.

Negative: We thought there was going to be an option for dinner at the property but once we arrived we found out there wasn't, and the nearest vegetarian restaurant was a 25 min walk downhill and a longer walk back up. This just meant we needed to plan ahead a bit more, and as we had a fridge in our room it was no hassle to buy some focaccia, tomatoes and pesto from the shop and have our dinner on the terrace. We were also unaware that there were no taxis in the area so it was a bit tricky arriving, but again, once we knew this we were able to plan accordingly and get the bus or walk.

Summary: Beautiful and quiet location amongst nature, helpful owners and delicious breakfast.

Positive: The food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was amazing and the hospitality was unforgettable. Best olive oil in all of Italy! The view from the terrace is stunning. Our room was clean and cozy. We cannot thank our hosts enough for their kindness.

Positive: Very calm, in the middle of the mountains. Awesome home cooked dinners and lovely breakfast. Did their best to accommodate a vegan diet. Distance to the sea is walkable, but very steep and exhausting. There is a bus, too.
