Summary: A lovely, spacious house with a large deck area and a lovely, tree shaded garden. The location is off the beaten track and very peaceful. Within a short drive are plenty of things to do and lovely towns, beaches etc. We were comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We had a nice vacation with two families. The house is large enough for 10 persons. However, it needs some indoor renovation. During our stay, some doorknobs came or were loose. The bar the showerhead sits on, came loose from the wall, some cabinets need some woodglue, because otherwise you remove the front end of the cabinet when opening a drawer. There is also a lot of dust and pieces of plaster on the wardrobes in the bedrooms. Cleaning could be better, crockery and pans are enough clean. The fireplace is awesome and there is lots of wood to keep warm. The manager onsite, Jo, was a very good help with some questions we had. She also brought us a decent coffeemaker, because the house doesn't have one (the question is 'why'. Everyone needs coffee now and then?). The neighbourhood is somewhat boring when it's bad weather (we had 6 days of rain...). There are some decent grocery stores nearby, but that's about it. A visit to the coast is recommended!

Summary: The house was perfect for our large family group, plenty of space and lots to do for the children. The kitchen was well equipped and the table big enough for us all to eat together. Bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. The children spent hours in the games room. They loved the horses, cows and chickens too. Best of all was the peace and quiet of this country village.
