Positive: La Demeure Langroise is a beautifully restored historic building perched on the ramparts of Langres. Our room was extremely comfortable, spacious and decorated with great flair. Delicious breakfast with fresh baked bread, croissant, homemade jam and excellent coffee. Best of all the hosts Dom and Fred who made us so welcome and looked after us with an abundance of hospitality. Wonderful people, wonderful place.

Positive: Hosts Fred, Dom and Ascot were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property is fabulous and comfortable with a keen eye to detail. The list of recommendations for places to eat was a great thought and extremely helpful.

Negative: There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We will be back.

Summary: Fred, Dom and not forgetting Ascot were fabulous hosts who should be proud of what they have done to bring the property

Positive: The hosts are the most wonderfull and nice people. They take pride in their work and it shows. They are kind and will help you. The bed, the rooms, shower etc are very nice and clean. The location is easy to reach and parking was easy. The breakfast wss very good, continental does not fully describe the breakfast it was continental ++.

Negative: Nothing. I cant think of anything they could improve. If I had to name one thing, make beter fotos of the rooms and location, we were not expecting this nice of a place

Positive: A beautiful old property, tastefully restored and sympathetically furnished. We loved it! Our hosts were absolutely delightful, very welcoming and happy to help in any way. The breakfast was very good - croissants, bread, fresh fruit and home-made cake and jams - all served in a very pretty dining room. Nothing was too much trouble.

Negative: The property was all we wished for - we generally prefer ‘boutique’ type hotels and this one was perfect. Small but with everything we needed and very well placed for the Old Quarter.

Summary: Excellent - we would highly recommend and very much enjoyed our brief stay.
