Positive: Fabulous location, The view is superb. The property has many hectares of land that you can walk around. It is a fantastic place to kick back and enjoy the splendour of nature, with immense views and original historic features. It is also a great place to discover Provence, even though it is tucked down a ten-minute country track. (Come in a high-off-the-ground vehicle or SUV/4x4.) If not available, borrow the hosts' 7-seater. Everything you need is on-site, and the host provides several products to start you off even your beds are already made up; I highly recommended that you bring your first-day food/drink/wine provisions and during the week make sure you take advantage of the extremely French Monday morning market in Forcalquier. Overall very happy and look forward to returning.

Negative: If I were to make a negative point, the mobile service could be better, but Rod has invested heavily in the internet, so WhatsApp and Zoom work great. They have a French fibre style internet connection, so I was able to work during the day easily with fast speeds.

Positive: We spent 2 weeks at this charming rustic house in Provence and had a fantastic experience!! The location is easy to find, which made the arrival smooth and stress-free. And the owners even offer to pick you up from the closest village if you don’t have a car, which is a huge plus! The house itself is beautiful, with lovely Provençal décor that adds to the authenticity of the stay, private pool, big area to hike/walk, has everything you need for your stay. We read the comments about bad internet, but the internet connection was excellent, which was important for us since we needed to stay connected for work. We had WIFI everywhere inside the house, outside terrace and pool area! The peaceful surroundings with green mountains allowed us to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. A perfect balance of comfort and tranquility. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back! Thank you!
