Summary: Our experience was not so good the room was nice however it was very close to a function room where there was an event. The loud music from this event went on till 01.30am so myself my husband and our 4 yr old daughter did not get to sleep till this music had stopped! The staff were polite and friendly but no one to be seen in the bar or communal seating area if you wanted to get any refreshments. Breakfast was also very disappointing, all the pastries looked very old and not much variety for hot and cold buffet. Not worth the money.

Summary: Beautiful and quiet property. Grounds are not quite as they could be.Breakfast is basic . Overall we really liked and enjoyed our stay. Just needs a few improvements to make it a 5 star experience.

Summary: The hotel is located in rural France, I think it used to be a stately home. The decoration is like a country house with antique type furniture and paintings. There is a minibar in the room, but no tea or coffee facilities. Sometimes it can take sometime to get a drink from the bar. There are 2 restaurants onsite and the food is nice, but not exceptional in my view. I ordered a steak one night and asked for it well done seeing that in France well done is normally a medium in England, it was overcooked by some way. It was very hot during my stay and the air-con is not sufficient.

Summary: This beautiful building is clean and lovely ambience . Room and bathroom good size and what you expect from very large old hotel odd things like some worn carpets paint worked chippped but nothing awful . The staff who greeted us young lady on reception on Friday 1st May pm was so attentive and young man who served us drinks again lovely and polite and speaks a lot of languages . The food in the restaurant on site superb and the young waitress was so lovely again . Excellent value for money !!!!
