Positive: The building was very old world, but inside was completely updated. It was in a very quaint Italian village with a lot of history within it. The host, Luca, was wonderful and communicated very well with us.

Negative: We liked everything but it was a bit tricky to find, even though Luca had sent us pictures. It is a pedestrian area so you must park and then find it.

Positive: The accommodation is very beautiful, well-decorated, comfortable, and clean. We really enjoyed the tranquility of the place. The host is very helpful and friendly, and was available to assist if needed. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Negative: We had some issues with hot water in the shower, but nothing that significantly compromised our stay. Other than that, the experience was perfect.

Positive: It was a very interesting journey. The place was wonderful. We lived inside the castle yard, which was very cozy and quiet. Just in front of the house, there are some great interesting places to visit: (the Archaeological Park of Ostia Antica, and the Castle of Julius II). The host Luca was very friendly, helpful, polite. When we arrived, he helped us to check in and explained everything very clearly. Luca was easily available all throughout our stay. He also booked a taxi for us for our early morning flight. The coffee and croissants available in the apartment kitchen were very tasty. Thank you very much, Luca! A good supermarket is just in front of the apartment. This is the best place for accommodation if you come to visit Ostia Antica.

Positive: The experience of being in such a magical place is unforgettable. Luca is a wonderful host, very knowledgeable, and with great energy. Staying in a medieval castle, surrounded by its burgh is something else! is a place to explore that takes you 600 years back. Also, the archeological area around the castle from antique Rome and the Necropolis is something to never forget, and want to come back for more. We will come back for sure.

Positive: Cosy quarters in a magical medieval setting. Location is right at the entrance of the old walls of Castello di Giulio II. Loved the view from the window onto the pretty square and proximity to the archaeological park. The studio was clean, and the host was accommodating and responsive. Conveniently close are a few restaurants, mini market and cafes ideal for a quick breakfast fix.

Negative: Nothing to dislike.

Positive: The location is about 1 km from Ostia Antica train station and about 500m from Ostia Antica excavation site. Many good restaurant around it and supermarket just across the hotel.

Negative: We felt lazy to go out to dinner in restaurant, so we just bought some food in the supermarket and get some pizza from a pizzeria nearby, however when we want to reheat the food, we cannot figure out how to turn on the stove.

Positive: A beautiful house, in a beautiful quiet pedestrian square, right next to the amazingly beautiful Ostia Antica archaeological park

Negative: Just one thing. The perfumes of the cleaning and/or sanatizing and/or disinfecting products was too strong. So much so that my eyes burned throughout the night.
