Summary: Thierry was warm and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. There was plenty of room for all guests. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was really good!

Summary: A fantastic country house, with a beautiful garden, near an ancient small town. The room is beautiful and the breakfast excellent. we had a great stay, the owner is very kind and friendly: we recommend it!

Summary: What a wonderful place to stay! Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, but would loved to have stayed longer. The room and private terrace were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owner is so helpful and friendly and the complimentary breakfast was divine. I really can't find anything negative to say. Just idyllic.

Summary: On a flying visit to Bergerac, we were looking for a quiet hotel to stay two nights. Luckily we came across La Carreterie. It was ideal for what we required and our host Thierry went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing. Really enjoyable breakfast. Hotel has been renovated to a high quality quaint French country style hotel. Look forward to returning

Summary: A pleasant stay with an attentive host. Very large room but terribly warm with only a small fan but the weather was exceptionally hot . Pool was nice and breakfast was excellent Overall an ok stay but lacks the wow factor for us
