Positive: The location of the gite was perfect offering quiet and relaxing comfort in a very well appointed property. The interior had everything you could wish for, and it is elegantly and stylishly finished. You will feel totally at home here. Our hosts Severine and Alexandre were warm and friendly and left us to relax and enjoy the garden and the pool. It's in a wonderfully quiet, pretty French village, yet was only 20(ish) minutes from Beaune (a delightfully historic town with a lively twice weekly market ) and 45 minutes from Dijon. Of course it's in the Burgundy wine area (Cote d'or) so there's plenty of wine tasting and vin yard visits too. A wonderful place to be.

Negative: We weren't able to stay longer (work commitments)!

Summary: Quiet, elegant, peaceful in a superb location.

Positive: Alex and Séverine gave us the warmest welcome and were extremely attentive to our needs. The house is beautifully decorated with a wonderfully homey feeling, and our girls were thrilled to discover so many toys. The highlight was the expansive outdoor space—full of surprises for both kids and adults, including fruit trees, berries and more that I won’t spoil. We really enjoyed the breakfast served in the garden with lots of local and home made produce. A true countryside gem! It’s a shame we only stayed one night.

Negative: It’s 15-20 minutes by car from Beaune. But they also have a good selection of prepared food and drinks that you can buy and enjoy at the property.

Positive: The loft conversion has been done brilliantly to create a characterful and spacious holiday home. The place was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely return. We especially liked the wood burner stove and eggs from the chickens.
