Summary: Wonderful place to stay when visiting the area. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for hiking, horseback riding, or simply for relaxing on the terrace. I will definitely come back.

Summary: Wonderful stay at La Balsa. Emilio and parents were gracious hosts. The best breakfasts of all our stays. Cold fresh fruit & melon, tomatoes, homemade Asturias cake, scrambled eggs or local ham/cheese. Storage of our bikes inside, room with view of creek, free parking available. Great WIFI too. Best value for a Cangas de Onís -Covodonga stay. Very convenient for our La Vuelta viewing.

Summary: We had the most wonderful 4 night stay at La Balsa. The location was great for sightseeing, hiking, swimming, kayaking, etc. The beds were comfortable and the owners were warm and generous with their time and attention. We advice and guidance we received from the owner regarding where to go and where to eat were better than any guide book. Would love to stay here again.
